I had a cold, so I can't really comment on the aroma, but I can tell you that the taste was great. I also really liked the brewery shop, where I went to pick up the mini-keg.

This beer is a brand new brew, just available this April and I would strongly recommend you go and get yourself some while it's around. I don't know if they plan on keeping this one on as a regular but I strongly suggest they do as its a cracker.

I would drink this every day, happily.

The first impressions of this beer are mixed, it's got a great colour to it but when I took a sniff I got.. nothing. Nada. Zip. It has no aroma at all, no hops, no malty character and certainly no fruity tang. Strange but no great loss in reality.

In fact the only really bad thing about this beer is the marketing bullshit.

It's bloomin' lovely and very quaffable, getting better taste after taste and after the usual 3 pint tasting I could still have happily drunk more, lots more. Albeit responsibly as that's what we're all supposed to do now (I get around that by having the LandLOrd present; like kids when using scissors; he's my responsible adult)

<blockquote>"gooseberry, lemongrass and passionfruit character similar to a glass of its namesake Sauvignon blanc."</blockquote>

Who writes this crap? I'm no wine connoisseur but can categorically state that this beer bears no resemblance to Sauvignon blanc. Even the citrus note is barely discernible.

So why does it get 4/5? Well, this is actually a great beer with a slightly nutty flavor. Delicious!
