  1. Shepherds Warning should come with a warning. No, not “don’t drink too much of this or you’ll end up under the table”, although at 5.6% this is probably true.

Simply, be aware that once you have tried this is amazing beer, other IPAs you have loved in the past will taste bland in comparison. A good evenings drinking of a lesser beer will be spoiled.

The more established brewers need to get their act together to keep up with Wild Weather Ales.

  2. Well Ding Dong, they’ve done it.
A true 5 out of 5 beer, it’s bloody lovely is this stuff. From the cloudy, unfiltered colour to the aroma to the sublime flavour it’s pure gold all the way.
But more than this the guys at Wild Weather Ales bent over backwards to get us our beer during a very busy time (preparing for the Reading Beer Festival), which just makes the whole beer swilling experience a real pleasure.
Kudos guys… but is this your best or is better yet to come in pursuit of your unicorn..?

  3. A truly excellent beer; wonderfully complex and enjoyable. But at 5.6% this is the proverbial sock with a snooker ball in it; seems at first glance to be warm and comforting but four pints later you wonder what the fuck happened.
